Losey by Gnoomes

For fans of Stereolab, Slowdive, Animal Collective, the transitional period between peak krautrock and early electronica, and taking your backpack off after a ten mile hike, Losey by Gnoomes explores a mind recently relieved of an enormous source of stress, cautiously relearning positivity and reintroducing light to a formerly destitute reality. A dense blend of sounds from goth rock, kraut rock, shoegaze, and techno conform to a strict, danceable pulse, with jazzy flairs and euphoric chords keeping spirits high as our feet engage in constant movement. Where the psychedelic tendencies of these sounds pulls us farther into ourselves, a constant commitment to a fluttering, upward movement prevents us from degrading into negative introspection, directing our gaze upward for the first time in longer than we can remember. As our defenses lower and our stress decreases, we become part of the outside world once again, using our dance as a way to reconnect and make up for that lost time.
