Inducing a dream state through a compressed sound submerged within a massive, empty acoustic space, these loosely constructed garage rock epics prevent their anger from fully connecting due to that psychedelic emotional distance. Consciously, we understand the poetry across the album revealing truths about colonial oppression as absolutely and demonstrably true. However, our subconscious understanding of the depths of this system, its methods of concealing itself and winning the hearts of the people through its unholy charisma, sets in the reality that we will almost certainly fail to uproot it, leaving us with this dissociative anger which festers but never reaches fruition.
