Polvorosa by Gloios

Polvorosa by Gloios

Anxiety forces us to relive the same day repeatedly, thinking the same thoughts, walking the same steps, avoiding the same fears as we sleepwalk through an increasingly empty life. Emerging from this dull void, our eyes melt under the radiant light of tragic euphoria, a complicated mix of guilt, relief, and hope that narrates the post rock adventure of Polvorosa by Gloios. Warm, open vocals trickle in from the distance, meeting twinkly guitar riffs, densely layered synths, and cavernous signal processing to immerse us in the hopeful sunrise of the day after. However, a persistent darkness reminds us that we may never fully leave that dark place behind, with dissonant melodies and obsessive loops both haunting us with the spectre of relapse and reminding us of all the days, months, and years wasted in the depths. Tomorrow, the sun may disappear again behind the frigid eclipse of a tortured psychology, so we must take this morning to bask in the sun.
