Body Songs by Circuit Circuit

Sometimes, you have to take a step back from our absorption into digital society and ask yourself whether escape is even possible anymore. Punk rising stars Circuit Circuit use their new EP Body Songs to rail against the abandonment of the body in favor of digital identity, subjecting the listener to a five-alarm wake-up call. Intense, constant noise sets the high frequencies ablaze, sending a shockwave of technical riffs, raw vocals, and angsty lyrics in all directions. However, despite their efforts to avoid the pitfalls of digital dissociation, the vast majority of people who find this album will exclusively listen to it via mp3 files, removing us from any permanent form of the music. Everyone you talk to and everything you interact with are tainted by this alternate universe, so all that’s left for us to do is scream, as there is no such thing as concrete resistance.
